I have always loved the sea and have spent much of my life sailing, mostly on the Menai Strait. Having completed my fine art degree, done some travelling and ocean sailing we settled in the lovely, bustling seaside town of Beaumaris in Anglesey.

Beaumaris looks out over the Menai Strait, with the ever changing colours of the Snowdonia mountains as a backdrop.

I want to capture the different moods and moments that you experience from being on Anglesey, from the swirling seas that surround us to the mountains we look out on.

My paintings are monoprints, obviously meaning one print. The table top in my studio is glass, this is where my paintings start…I paint onto the glass with inks, I then place calico onto the glass to take the print.
